Mbu puffer

The largest freshwater puffer in the world, reaching sixty-seven centimetres, with maze-like yellow and brown patterning. It is sold at five centimetres, and almost nothing in the aquarium trade has a wider gap between what is bought and what is required.

Adult size and growth

60–67 cm (23.6–26.4 in) — Confirmed maximum length. Captive adults commonly exceed 45 cm.
