Adult size and growth

The Crayfish (Prohibition of Keeping) Order 1996 in England and Wales prohibits keeping any live crayfish of the Astacidae, Cambaridae or Parastacidae without a licence, and this species is a cambarid. It is not among the crayfish named on the EU Union list of invasive alien species of Union concern, which lists them individually — but a species an instrument does not name is not thereby permitted by it, only outside its scope.
