Sulawesi harlequin shrimp
A boldly banded Sulawesi shrimp restricted to one lake, and one of the few dwarf shrimp with a genuinely striking pattern rather than a colour. Like every Sulawesi species it wants the opposite water from every other Caridina in the hobby.

What keeping this species involves

Adult size and growth

Typical lifespan in an aquarium: 1–2 years. Almost every animal sold in a shop is a juvenile, so the tank has to suit the size in the first line rather than the size in the bag.
