The Crayfish (Prohibition of Keeping) Order 1996 in England and Wales licenses the keeping of any live crayfish of the Astacidae, Cambaridae or Parastacidae, and this is a cambarid. It is not among the crayfish named individually on the EU Union list — which does not make it permitted, only outside that instrument's scope.
